About the Role ASC Accounting Tutor provides academic tutoring in accounting to students individually or in small groups. This on-campus student employee role supports the Academic Support Center at Texas Wesleyan University, helping students improve understanding and study skills through tutoring sessions and collaboration with faculty.
What You'll Do
- Provide academic tutoring services by maintaining a weekly schedule of available hours for appointments.
- Attend tutor training workshops as required.
- Keep accurate records of tutoring appointments by filing tutoring reports.
- Maintain contact with professors in your subject area to obtain pertinent materials for the ASC.
- Assist undergraduate students with assignments.
