About the Role ZF is seeking an Application Engineer (FutureStarter) to drive the alignment of customer requirements with ZF devices and systems, ensuring correct selection and configuration for customer vehicles. The role focuses on requirements elicitation, specification mapping, deviation resolution, and coordinating with product groups to meet customer needs. What You'll Do
- Elicit and map technical customer requirements and associated documents to ZF specifications
- Compare customer requirements with ZF specifications, identify mapping specifications and deviations, and provide product matching proposals
- Resolve deviations in consultation with product group engineers and customers, and obtain acceptance of deviations
- Create change requests for non-acceptable deviations, including a breakdown of customer requirements
