The Air Export Specialist at JAS facilitates international air freight movements, ensuring compliant and efficient export operations. You will prepare documentation, coordinate bookings and rates, and serve as a primary point of contact with authorities, customers, and overseas partners. What You'll Do
- Prepare and coordinate the necessary documentation for air export activities to ensure lawful, cost-effective execution.
- Coordinate cargo pickup/transfer and monitor shipment status.
- Communicate with export authorities, customers, and suppliers across relevant territories to ensure efficient, positive, and lawful operations.
- Manage/update carrier/vendor rates and obtain spot rates when necessary.
- Communicate with overseas agents and clients (pre-alerts, rate requests, shipment status).
- Track shipments and provide status updates to customers/agents.
