About this role

Overview

The AFIWEL Programme Coordinator will support responsible and sustainable aquaculture through fish welfare, aquatic animal health, farmer capacity strengthening, policy engagement, digital solutions, farm improvement, and market-based approaches.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Marine Sciences, Aquatic Sciences, Agriculture, One Health, Development Studies, Food Systems, Agricultural Development, or a related field.
A relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Animal Health & Welfare, Agricultural Development, Food Systems, One Health, Livestock/Aquatic Animal Production, or related programmes.
