About the Role The University of Portland Department of Biology invites applications for Adjunct Instructors to teach Molecular Biology courses (lectures or labs). Subjects may include genetics, cell and molecular biology, microbiology, and/or immunology. This part-time, semester-by-semester position requires three in-person class contact hours per week per section and regular availability to meet with students; participation in department orientation and trainings is expected. Adjunct Instructors are hired on a per-semester basis and teach assigned Biology courses, not to exceed six credit hours per semester.
