About the Role Adjunct instructors are employed on a per-load-unit basis for a given semester or term to deliver courses in computing, mathematics and physics. Responsibilities include course delivery, preparation, teaching, grading, and office hours; some contracts may involve advising or course development as needed by the department.
Courses meet face-to-face for 2.5 hours per week for 15 weeks, either as three 50-minute lectures (MWF) or two 75-minute lectures, with scheduling typically between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate classes on an as-needed basis.
- Create and maintain a Canvas course page; design and grade assessments; respond to students in a timely manner via weekly office hours and/or email.
