About the Role
Part-time adjunct instructors will serve as field supervisors for teacher candidates in the School of Education at the University of Cincinnati, CECH-IT. The role supports field experiences, mentoring, and evaluation to ensure high-quality preparation of future educators.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate teacher candidates' teaching performance at field schools and provide oral and written feedback
- Evaluate assignments and provide written feedback
- Communicate with teacher candidates, mentor teachers, and UC faculty regarding performance
- Observe and evaluate teacher candidates in field experiences; meet with students several times per semester
- Attend meetings and report requirements to student teachers and site mentors
- Report progress to the Field Coordinator
- Supervise, observe, and evaluate teacher candidates at school partner sites as part of the role
