About the Role Non-tenured, part-time adjunct faculty member responsible for supervising undergraduate and graduate nursing students during clinical rotations at area hospitals, nursing homes, and community health centers. The role may include on-campus practice labs, simulation labs, or graduate nursing labs to support hands-on learning.
What You'll Do
- Manage clinical rotations and on-campus labs; assign patient cases with safety protocols in mind and ensure students gain maximum learning.
- Supervise students in all aspects of patient care; conduct pre- and post-conferences that support coordination of patient care.
- Evaluate clinical performance at midpoint and end-of-semester; grade clinical assignments; develop mutual learning plans for at-risk students; notify lead faculty and program chair as needed; finalize and submit grades on time.
