Accountant (Inventory)
About this role
The Inventory Accountant will play a central role in the finance and accounting team to manage inventory valuation, reconciliations, and related accounting processes and to work closely with operations and other stakeholders to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate computation of landed cost by capturing all applicable procurement, freight, customs duty, clearing, and logistics expenses for inventory valuation and reporting purposes.
- Improve efficiency and accuracy in landed cost allocation across imported goods to support proper cost analysis, pricing decisions, and financial reporting.
- Ownership of all inventory-related postings in Odoo.
- Perform a monthly reconciliation with various stakeholders to ensure alignment of Physical inventory to Odoo Count and value.
