About the Role Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Engagement, the Academic Engagement Program Coordinator creates a supportive, welcoming environment that promotes the success of Wright State students, with a focused commitment to first-year students and first-generation students as they navigate critical transitions to college. This role develops and delivers innovative, student-centered programs while driving measurable outcomes in course completion, persistence, and retention. Through evidence-based practices, strategic outreach, collaborative programming, and a dedicated student centric model, the Academic Engagement Program Coordinator empowers students to fully engage academically by teaching them lifelong success strategies needed to navigate the university successfully.
