About the Role The Center for Humanities and Technology (CHaT) at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in AI Ethics, to begin August 2026. The Fellow will be housed in CHaT and will divide time roughly equally among research, public engagement with AI, and supporting operations and programming. What You'll Do
- Pursue independent or collaborative research aligned with CHaT’s core themes of AI explainability, ethics, and trustworthiness.
- Provide assistance to CHaT and its partner centers with public engagement work related to AI.
- Help cultivate interdisciplinary connections across the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Contribute to CHaT’s programming (annual conference, speaker series) and support public engagement initiatives in collaboration with CHaT.
- Support The Cincinnati Ethics Center’s ethics of AI engagement work.
