About this role

Ongoing Legal Interns – Free to Be Youth Project

The Free to Be Youth Project (FYP) seeks law students for semester-based internships/externships (spring, fall, or summer). The project focuses on legal services, systemic advocacy, and community education for homeless and street-involved LGBTQ+ youth in New York City. Interns will assist with intake, research, and advocacy to address issues like shelter access, benefits, identification documents, employment, and immigration status. This is a hybrid position with a mix of virtual and in-person work.
