About the Role MetLife is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Group Benefits core team within the Global Technology organization. You will work on enterprise-level applications, collaborating with partners to deliver on enterprise-level strategic initiatives and provide excellent customer experiences. What You'll Do
- Lead, design, develop, implement, and maintain the application using distributed technologies including leading a team of engineers working in the onshore-offshore model.
- Create, write/update the technical and system documentation explaining in detail the changes that are done and their impact.
- Oversee IT aspects of software development life cycle using agile and DevSecOps methodology across a set of group benefit applications.
- Develop secured, scalable, distributed enterprise level applications from customer perspective that are simple to use and maintain.
