About the Role Part-time Dining Service Attendant II in the University of Dayton's Dining Services Department. This role handles food preparation/service and sanitation to support service lines and customer experience. What You'll Do
- Fill steam tables and retrieve food and supplies from kitchen areas to set up service lines.
- Prepare and serve food using knives and commercial kitchen equipment (steamers, fryers, pizza ovens, turbo chefs, etc.).
- Provide customer service by tending food stations, ensuring proper serving sizes, and keeping items stocked.
- Perform sanitation duties: clean and store dishes, trays, utensils, cups, pots and pans; dishwashing; refill dish machine chemicals; reshelving.
- Read and accurately process tickets from the GET ordering system, gathering/preparing items and directing orders to the pickup area.
