About the Role
Join Amgen’s Global Cost Accounting team, responsible for consolidating and analyzing global inventory and cost of sales. In this role you will manage inventory accounting for select Amgen manufacturing sites and oversee an outsourced provider to ensure accurate financial reporting. What You'll Do
- Perform inventory accounting for select Amgen manufacturing sites.
- Manage and review the work of an outsourced provider supporting the team.
- Analyze complex inventory movements in SAP and verify financials.
- Perform and analyze standard costing in SAP/S4HANA.
- Prepare and review sophisticated journal entries, GL account analyses, and reconciliations for SAP and consolidation tools.
- Prepare and review audit schedules; respond to internal and external auditor questions.
